The title of this story is an allusion (casual reference) to a poem by Sara Teasdale that is featured in the story. An allusion is a rhetorical technique, where reference is made to a person, event, object, or work from history or literature. Sara Teasdale's poem, like Bradbury's story, deals with the horrific possibility that people might destroy themselves through war. As I read the story, I thought about how science fiction writers use stories about the future to 'warn' us about the possible consequences of our present actions.
The phrase “will come” in the title shows that the poem takes place in the future, but the future can be an hour away, a day away or many years away the time is not clear although at the end it says the date was August 4-5, 2026. Not until the end of the story is there an implication that the time the poem looks forward to is actually a season away—a time when spring comes around again. The “soft rains” are the gentle showers of springtime that drip on the ground and bring out its earthy scents of wet grass and mud. Spring also means the return of birds.

The unusual thing is that the house wakes up in the morning, starts to make breakfast, wakes the house but there are no humans and no one is living in the house. It is not possible that a house has a life as in humans and so it is unusual. The words Ray used to describe the scene don't really make sense as well because they don't match, the story is very confusing as well.
One of the ordinary points in the story is the nuclear war because it is an actual thing which is real. It is also ordinary when the mom is working in the flowerbed, dad is mowing the lawn and the son and daughter are throwing the ball back and forth. I saw a picture that was for this story and it even pulled back further to show the radioactively glowing city. The house became vacant as a result of man's final war.

I have read that Ray Bradbury is one of those rare individuals whose writing has changed the way people think. His more than five hundred published works -- short stories, novels, plays, screenplays, television scripts, and verse -- showed America's imagination at its most creative.
Once you will read it, you will never forget his words. His best-known and most loved books are THE MARTIAN CHRONICLES, THE ILLUSTRATED MAN, FAHRENHEIT 451 and SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES, are masterworks that readers carry with them over a lifetime. People agreed that Ray was on of the truly classic authors of the 20th and 21st Century.
